My dad and I headed down to the pet shop to pick out the dogs for the sacrifice. I had to pick out the two that we would sacrifice during the ceremony. I couldn’t wait till we had the ceremony. I had been waiting for this forever. I was expecting it to be amazing, but I wasn’t expecting what happened when we left the pet shop. Me and my dad had chosen a beagle and a cow dog for the sacrifice. Once we had paid and were leaving the store when I saw a camera crew outside. “Dad?” I had asked. “What’s going on?” He (remove)had shrugged. He had as much knowledge as I did as to what was happening. We continued walking through the doors but then the cameras were shoved into my face. “Rosalina! Rosalina!” They cried to me. “Why do you guys sacrifice dogs? Do you feel any regret when doing so?” They started shooting questions at me. I had no idea what was going on. It was weird to have them asking questions about something that seemed so natural to me but foreign to them. My dad got us away from them and back to everyone else. The sacrifice continued as usual, with no interruptions. But the real shock would happen when we got home and found out that I was all over the news. I thought this was the worst thing that could have ever happened. But I didn’t know that the worst was coming.
The next Monday, I had no choice but to go to school. My parents would not allow me to stay home, no matter what the situation. I had kept my head down all day long. I couldn’t bear to see if anyone had seen the newscast last night and if they did, they were going to be really mad.

The story needs to be including the amendments.
